Novem Technology’s development process is as detailed as established delivery models. On September 14th, 2007, Novem was successfully certified with a Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI) Level 3 by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon (see www.sei.cmu.edu/cmmi/general). The foundation for success is derived from the “thinking” cycle of the engagement”. Novem Technology realizes the focus of their clients: their team, their markets, and their competitors. This makes the notion of a project far beyond a simple defined requirement for it to be complete. The top tier of the process is viewed in the light of these parameters while it evolves from scope definition into a technical design and delivery approach.

Defined activities and deliverables for each phase of the project life cycle describe the minimum set. However, this could also include more business critical deliverables such as Return on Investment, Requirement Evolution, Technological Transition, and User Acceptance.

The following diagram identifies and describes each phase and their related activities and deliverables.
