Background: The existing manual processing system was highly inefficient and inconvenient for the network of insurance brokers.
Scope: Novem was asked to create a streamlined system that would replace their manual handling system. The new system would assist small business groups of 2 to 100 employees without health coverage.
Solution: Novem transformed the company's manual system into a fully automated operations system. The system was multi-lingual, supporting versions, in English, Spanish, and Chinese. The system also supported multiple browsers such as Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox. The Java based server system was coupled with an Ajax front end in order to make it more functional than other HTML based websites.
Today our client's customer base has reached over 50,000 people. The project team worked with the clients to identify their needs and continue production support and system enhancements. Our approach is focused on continuous enhancement and forecasting to help our customers achieve the productivity increases they want.
